ABOUT US

Who is 'She.'

She. Women’s Mental Health Events was created from a growing need and an undeniable calling to give women the same space, safety, and support that transformed so many lives through the He. Men’s Mental Health Event movement.

After hosting two sold-out He. Men’s Mental Health events, founder Cass Hogan witnessed the incredible impact of storytelling, connection, and community in breaking down the stigma surrounding men’s mental health. The conversations that followed were powerful – and the most common question was:

“When will there be something like this for women?”

That question became the spark for She.

She. exists to shine a light on the often-unspoken realities of women’s mental health – the quiet strength, the unseen struggles, and the immense pressure to hold it all together. It’s a movement that celebrates vulnerability, empowers honesty, and reminds women that they are never alone.

Cass, a deeply empathetic life coach and mental health advocate, believes that contentment is the core of wellbeing – and that true healing begins when we create spaces for people to feel seen, supported, and safe to be themselves.

Through She., the mission is simple yet profound:

To promote women’s mental health and create a supportive community in New Zealand where every woman feels seen, heard, and valued on her journey towards wellbeing.

She. is more than an event – it’s a movement built on courage, community, and compassion. And its time has come.

Our Event Purpose

An evening to dress up, connect, and shine a light on women’s mental health.

Behind every smile, every role a woman plays, and every story untold, there are moments of strength — and often, moments of struggle. She. Women’s Mental Health Events was created to bring these conversations into the light, reminding women that they are not alone, and that their wellbeing matters deeply.

The purpose of this event is to open honest conversations around the unique challenges women face and to create a space where vulnerability is met with understanding, compassion, and empowerment.

Through this event, we seek to accomplish the following:

Raise Awareness – By sharing real stories, lived experiences, and valuable insights, we aim to highlight the importance of recognising and prioritising women’s mental health across every stage of life.

Challenge Stigmas – We’re breaking down the silent expectations that tell women to “hold it all together.” By encouraging openness and self-compassion, we aim to redefine what strength truly looks like — embracing authenticity, rest, and asking for help.

Inspire Action – Through stories of courage, resilience, and transformation, we will encourage women to take small but meaningful steps toward nurturing their mental wellbeing — and to know that it’s okay to put themselves first.

Provide Resources and Tools – Beyond inspiration, we’ll equip attendees with practical tools, strategies, and resources to support their mental health long after the evening ends.

Foster Connection and Community – Most importantly, this night will bring women together — from all walks of life — to listen, to laugh, to heal, and to walk away feeling seen, supported, and part of something bigger than themselves.
